Asked how it could influence the US-UK relationship, West stated: "On this event, it would show up there was some issue with the genuine rocket. The rocket is an American rocket. It is the very same one as the Americans use.This is a telemetry rocket and what it would mean is that something turned out badly with that telemetry rocket. That is fundamentally an American issue. I'm certain it was a minor thing and it was settled."
West said the signs were that the test endured a "minor hiccup" and there was no motivation behind why Fallon couldn't unveil the date when the test occurred.
